Featured on the 2014 Preservation Austin Tour of mid-century icons, the home was concepted and designed by Herbert Crume, the architect who built the home for his family in 1953. Crume was a UT graduate who studied in Chicago before joining the Fehr and Granger firm and later was a partner with Jessen Associates.
